A little while ago we introduced these guys here on Leeds Indie Radio so it’s great to see that Leeds band Afraid Like You are playing Live at Leeds this year.

Afraid Like You are four 20-22 year old lads from the outskirts of Leeds who love Indie, Rock and Dance music. In December 2009 they managed to fuse the three together into a fast paced, hook driven, melody machine that claims to produce more rhythm than the whole of Brazil! In early March they released their debut EP “Friction From Fiction” which is still available as a free download from their MySpace.

Having already established themselves as a popular Leeds band playing multiple times with Leeds breakthrough band Club Smith at The Cockpit and headlining local venue Escobar, they have now been added to the Live At Leeds line-up and will be performing at Royal Park Cellars at 2:30 pm tomorrow (Saturday 1st May).

You can find out more about the band on their MySpace and do try and include them in your Live at Leeds schedule – you won’t be disappointed! We’re currently playing a few of their tracks on Leeds Indie Radio so please have a listen.

If you don’t yet have tickets for Live at Leeds 2010 you can still get them from Lunatickets (e-ticket) for only £15.
