Well, it’s just under two weeks until one of the country’s greatest festivals takes over Bramham Park for another year and we’re super excited to announce that we have been chosen to cover Leeds Festival 2010 here on Leeds Indie Radio.
In the run up to the festival weekend we will be bringing you previews of some of the bands due to play and especially showcasing the unsigned local talent who will be playing the BBC introducing Stage and the indie label artists from Leeds who are playing the main stages.
To start things off, each night we’re adding a song to our playlist from one of the bands who will be playing on the Dance To The Radio Stage on the Thursday night (26th August). We will also be playing songs by the local unsigned artists who will be playing the BBC Introducing Stage across the weekend, including Club Smith, Soul Circus, Penguin and the mighty Sketches!
Over the Leeds Festival 2010 weekend we will be there in the thick of it, tweeting, blogging and audioboo-ing about the bands we see, the people we meet and the mud we will inevitably end up dancing around in!
